25th Annual Children North East Sandcastle Challenge

TGA have been working closely with and supporting local schools as we entered the 25th Annual Children North East Sandcastle competition alongside St Wilfred’s RC Primary School. This event was held on Friday 5th July 2019 at South Shields Little Haven Beach, in which over 50 schools took part. Liam and Luke entered the competition with two Year 6 teams from St Wilfred’s RC School, with this year’s theme being ‘Build a New World’. Graduate Reinforcements

Following TGA’s ethos to develop the next generation, we have introduced a number of graduates of great potential to help reinforce the team. This includes Andy Tan and Craig Lister. Both graduate from Northumbria in 2019 with BEng and MEng degrees, with time spent in industry during their placement year. Both are of a mechanical bias, with Andy having a strength in passive design and forming part of our Building Physics working group. TGA would like to welcome James Davison and Stewart Park to the TGA Team. Stewart joined as an Associate to support and help reinvigorate TGA’s southern design offices, with James joining as a Principal Engineer in our ever-growing office in Newcastle.
