TGA Consulting Engineers LLP were employed by the Homes and Communities Agency for this Former Electrolux Site Residential Development.
TGA completed the rebuilding, refurbishment and adaptation of listed former malting houses to create 67 luxury homes here in Snape Maltings. The regeneration of the site created a connection between the sites historic past, the local community and it’s rejuvenated use.
The former is a 3-storey day centre with a roof garden area. TGA have designed the building to meet the BRE BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating. It is a ground breaking facility that is being used as a model for the delivery of social care in the community.
TGA was initially invited to undertake an investigation into the condition of existing distribution installations which formed the communal heating installation. This investigation established that pipework was corroded and that the system lacked control and segregation.
TGA Consulting Engineers LLP were employed as part of the design team for the design of a new development on Battersea Road for the London Borough of Wandsworth.
As part of it’s estate regeneration programme, Lambeth has commissioned the regeneration of three of it’s existing estates, Knights Walk, South Lambeth and Westbury.
Working under a Joint Venture framework, TGA are part of a multi-disciplinary team appointed by the London Borough of Wandsworth to develop a number of existing housing estates to provide new homes for residents.
Tibbalds multi-disciplinary team was appointed under the HCA framework to provide professional services associated with the Regents Park Estate regeneration project.
TGA Consulting Engineers LLP were employed as part of the Main Contract Team to develop the Mechanical, Electrical and Building Physics Services for this £80M Community Scheme for the Local Authority.
Merrington Lane HCA
Working as part of the joint Venture, TGA are supporting the HCA in the remediation works for this existing industrial site in readiness for a 450 unit housing development.
Large Domestic Dwelling
An impressive substantive private development with an approximate construction value of £12m which was more a 5* Hotel than a domestic dwelling. The project included Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 and included Photo-Voltaics, CHP and 12.5m pool with infinity edge.
Under the HCA Engineering framework TGA was appointed for a heating replacement scheme at Finsbury Estate. TGA evaluated lifestyle consequences relating to 14 individual schemes for the 328 dwellings.
Commissioned by Camden Borough Council, TGA is currently undertaking detailed options studies to access the most efficient means of energy generation.
