TGA, who were first involved in the scheme at Feasibility Stage in 2017, have remained closely connected with the project, developing design information up to and including Stage 4 and supporting the Main Contractor throughout the construction stage. TGA also developed Stage 5 and Stage 6 information for the M&E contractor for this BIM Level 2 project, providing fully coordinated working and installation drawings, as well as an as built and asset information model.
The Office building is providing almost 4,000m2 of high-quality office accommodation in the centre of Darlington, with tenants including Deep Ocean already signing up to occupy the building.
This project follows a significant number of schemes delivered through the Scape Framework with Darlington Borough Council, which include the Department for Education development on the Town Hall site, the Business Growth Hub project, and ongoing projects at Darlington Central park and the wider Darlington Heritage Quarter Scheme.
