TGA Consulting Engineers LLP has been engaged as part of the design team including Southern Green and Identity Consult to provide professional design services associated with the Specialist Lighting and Mechanical and Electrical elements for the reordering of Redcar Town Centre on behalf of Redcar and Cleveland Council.
The project consists of a number of areas within the town including The Esplanade, High Street, Station Road, Dundas Street and Bath Street and Moore Street.
The scheme is part of a wider redevelopment of Redcar. This includes a proposed outdoor watersports centre at Coatham, a family activity centre on The Esplanade, renovating properties in Station Road, along with an improved library for the town and a clean energy education hub at Redcar & Cleveland College.
The plans were devised by Redcar Town Board who have received £25m to rejuvenate the coastal town.
