Trainee Mechanical Engineer

Emily spent a number of years as a Design and Technology and Engineering Teacher. Through this she discovered a passion for Building Services and Design which has led her to embark on a recent change in career. Having first completed a PEO Emily is now TGA’s newest Trainee Mechanical Engineer.

Currently completing a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering, Emily aspires to continue her journey through to Degree Level and eventually hopes to become a Chartered Engineer.

Emily is part of TGA’s mechanical team and provides support to the wider TGA teams. She has worked on a range of projects providing modelling and drawing skill using a variety of software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup and Enscape. As part of her additional duties, Emily is document controller for Newcastle City Council’s Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys painting, meals out with friends and trips to the cinema.
