New Year, New Office!

As part of a strategic plan to increase TGA’s work-winning opportunities, we have started 2025 by relocating our head office function to Newcastle and moving a complete team of 14 to a new office in Stockton-on-Tees, allowing us to locally deliver an integrated building services consultancy service that includes mechanical, electrical and building performance engineering as well as BIM and Specialist Lighting.

This decision follows a period of review and reflection within TGA, as well as ongoing growth and aspirations within the Tees Valley. While we have been based in Durham since the business was founded, and Durham has been a great home for us, the growth in Newcastle and the new opportunities emerging in the Tees Valley made a change necessary.

The new office space offers us a spacious, modern environment where we can establish ourselves in the area, build on existing relationships we have in and around the Tees Valley, and expand our work-winning opportunities.

Some of the projects TGA has worked on locally include Eston Leisure Centre, Hardwick Hall and Wynyard Hall, as well as numerous projects in nearby Darlington including the Station Gateway project and the magnificent Hopetown. There were also the works for Thirteen Housing Group at Hudson Quay, as well as Northshore just across the water from the new office and the drop in on Stockton High Street. Historically, TGA have also worked on a number of projects for Durham University at their Queens Campus, such as the Sports Centre, the Holliday Building, and the Wolfson Building. The office is also conveniently located near Thornaby Train Station, which has good links to surrounding areas and our other offices, allowing staff to work across all locations.

These are interesting, challenging and exciting times ahead for TGA, as we embark as a team of almost 50 engineers on this strategic plan to seek out new opportunities!
