Redcar Community Heart

Redcar Heart is a £28m development which incorporates a series of facilities including:

-A leisure centre which provides a 25m pool, a Waverider indoor surfing area, a childrens “fun pool”, an 8 court sports hall, dance studios, a fitness suite, a café / bar, a multi-purpose community space and associated changing facilities

-The Business / Community / Enterprise Centre; incorporating the Debating Chamber / flexible community space, the Mayoral Chamber, office accommodation for the council democratic services support staff, meeting rooms and flexible community spaces, a business enterprise centre, flexible business incubator spaces and Registry facilities

-Parking at basement level with associated access roads and loading bays

-The Energy Centre serving the buildings which make up the development as well as a plate heat exchanger in Redcar and Cleveland House, adjacent.
