    TGA were contracted to design and manage modernisation of a number of residential blocks for the University.

    Project Summary

    The blocks were to be redecorated and modernised with new sanitary ware and kitchen appliances. These projects involved adaptation of existing, and installation of new equipment and services.

    The scope was to install, balance, test and commission domestic water services, drainage and electrical services including cleaning and re-lamping of existing lighting and installation of new where required in all corridors, kitchens, bedrooms, en-suite and communal bathrooms.

    Mclaren House: Two residential blocks (A and B), each of which is a 7-storey structure for 112 students with en-suite bathrooms and 14 separate kitchens.

    2 Dante Place: Four residential blocks arranged around central gardens in an L-shaped pattern. 73 flats Two residential blocks 414 student bedrooms arranged in various configurations per floor.

    David Bomberg House: Two residential blocks (A and B), which are 6 and 7 stories respectively, 19 flats house a total of 172 student bedrooms arranged in various bedroom configurations per floor.

    New Kent Road: Four residential blocks (A, B, C and D): which contain 81 standard bedrooms within the 4 storey blocks, together with communal kitchens and bathrooms.
