TGA Consulting Engineers LLP have worked for Newcastle University for many years, via a series of framework agreements. TGA are currently retained by the University on the most recent iteration of this framework agreement.
Project Summary
Our experience of project work for Newcastle University is substantial and varied. It includes major refurbishments of all types of accommodation throughout the University’s estate including halls of residence, administrative office accommodation, teaching accommodation within most buildings and laboratory accommodation, again within most buildings including the medical school.
Project experience includes, for example, major projects within:

Projects within Halls of Residence included the rewiring of Kensington Terrace in the 1990’s. It also included a complete, phased refurbishment of all mechanical and electrical services within the Castle Leazes Halls of Residence between 1993 and 1995.
This was followed by a similar, phased refurbishment of the Richardson Road student accommodation between 1996 and 2000.
