This week, we are celebrating the incredible contributions and achievements of women in the construction industry!
TGA are thrilled to highlight our female staff during Women in Construction Week 2025, coinciding with International Women’s Day on Saturday 8th March.
With staff across all of our teams, TGA has some fantastic women staff members who play vital roles in shaping the future of construction. We are glad to see 20% of the TGA team are now women and hope this will continue to increase. Keep reading to hear about the women at TGA’s journeys and interests…
Within TGA’s BIMTS team we have Courtney, who joined TGA in 2017 and is now a Senior Revit Technician:
“From joining as an apprentice with TGA in 2017, I have progressed to the role of Senior Revit Technician alongside having the responsibility of training and development for trainees/apprentices. The areas of BIM which I’m particularly interested in are asset information management and coordination to improve efficiency & successful integration between parties.”
Rachel joined TGA in 2022 and is currently a Trainee Revit Technician:
“I joined the BIMTS team in 2022 after being in the creative design industry for over 10 years. The change in career has allowed me to develop skills in a new area and learn a lot from the team who are extremely knowledgeable within Revit. Having a keen interest in design has made the transition even more interesting and I hope to continue to expand my skills.”
Working within TGA’s Mechanical team we have Emma who joined TGA in 2022 as an associate and is now a Technical Director, as well as TGA’s Healthcare lead:
“A few years ago I joined TGA as an associate, with the aim of developing the healthcare team and securing more projects in the sector. Since then, I have been promoted to Technical Director and TGA have recruited multiple staff members with a healthcare bias to help develop the team. We have now successfully completed a number of healthcare projects, with numerous projects currently underway and many more in the pipeline. I’m really pleased with how we are developing and growing in this sector and proud of the strong team and presence we have developed within TGA.”
Meghana works within TGA’s Electrical team and joined TGA in 2022 as a Graduate Electrical Engineer. She is now an Electrical Engineer and also a part of TGA’s Specialist Lighting team:
“I began my career as a Graduate Engineer and have since been promoted to the next level within my organization. Throughout my professional journey, I have honed my skills and gained valuable experience. Currently, I am an actively member of the specialist lighting team and simultaneously advancing my expertise as an Electrical Engineer.”
Within TGA’s Building Performance team we have Charlotte, who joined TGA in 2019 as part of the Building Performance team and has progressed to be a Senior Consultant:
“I have always had an interest in sustainability and appreciate how I can now apply this to the built environment and see my influence in its built form, particularly when delivering Passivhaus and Carbon Reduction projects. I also enjoy my role in supporting my team members to apply their knowledge and encourage them to find areas of special interest, allowing us to build an even stronger team.”
Erica joined TGA’s Building Performance team in 2022 after graduating and is now a Building Performance Engineer:
“I joined TGA’s Building Performance Team to further my passion for sustainable, environmentally conscious design. Based in our Leeds office, I work closely with our integrated Mechanical and Electrical teams to tackle complex design challenges and deliver innovative, efficient solutions that contribute to a greener future. The invaluable support and guidance from the wider Building Performance team has been instrumental in my professional growth at TGA.”
TGA’s Business Support team includes Catherine, who joined TGA in 2010 and is the Business Support Team manager, focusing on TGA’s administration alongside finances and operations:
“I joined TGA as a Receptionist and quickly moved into more of an administration role. 8 years ago, I progressed into finance & operations. I also continue to work within the Business Support Team, assisting the wider TGA Team.”
Elli joined TGA in 2018 and is part of the business support team, focusing on TGA’s marketing and business development, alongside administration:
“I joined TGA as a Business Admin Apprentice and over the past couple of years, have transitioned into a marketing and business development role. I’m currently completing a Marketing Executive Apprenticeship which suits my daily tasks, such as managing TGA’s social media and website, whilst continuing to assist with administrative tasks across all TGA teams.”
Caitlin joined TGA in 2024 as a Finance Assistant and is part of the business support team:
“I joined TGA as a Finance Assistant in late 2024, after graduating in 2023. Day to day, I assist with the company’s finance function, including invoicing, expenses, and payroll. I also assist the wider team with any finance queries they may have, or any reports required for projects. In addition to these responsibilities, I play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.”
